The psychomotor assessment
The assessment is carried out on medical prescription. It allows the psychomotor therapist to better understand the request, and to be able to offer appropriate care.
We first meet to take the medical history together. Then we do two to three thirty-minute sessions to pass the various tests. I write it up and we take a final time together to discuss the report and the therapeutic project if necessary.

Handover
The assessment is carried out in three stages:
- the meeting to take the anamnesis together
- the passing of the tests (spread over two thirty-minute sessions)
- the report
I adapt the assessment tests according to the request. Different tests are used (Rey figure, assessment of tone according to Mrs. Soubiran, EMG, etc.). Everything is done in the office.
The three main spheres are studied: cognition, emotions, and motor skills.
Purpose of a assessment
The assessment allows:
- to clarify and/or better understand a situation,
- if necessary, to establish a therapeutic project
- to complete a series of assessments (neuropsychological, speech therapy, etc.)
- to redirect to another specialist if necessary.
